Dishui Lake is the landmark construction of the main urban areas of Lingang New City, and the design concept is from the master plan of Germanic GMP company: a water-drop from the sky and falls into the sea. The sea is disturbed the surface of the water. The water-drop falls into the sea and forms the Dishui Lake of diameter of 2.5km and area of 5.66 square meters. It is the largest artificial freshwater lake at home so far. In order to improve the water quality of Dishui Lake, there is building a lead clear channle to bring the water in the lake in Nanhui District. And through ecological and biological treatment, makes the water in the lake clearer. The whole building is built near the lake, showing the idea of beatific unicon.

Along the lake is landscape area which is on the average of 80 square meter wide. The landscape area is based on the principle of green building, is not only environment beautiful and delightful scenery, but also carry on all kinds of activities close to water, entertainment and leisure activities, like beach volleyball, enjoy sunbath, fishing and so on. The lake is distributed three different positioning of the islands, north island, west island and south island.

In the northern of the Dishui Lake is the north island of 235,000 square meters which is called "entertainment island" and also the biggest "pearl" of the three islands. Base on the planning, the north islan will be built a fairground full of ocean features, including
a world of water, oasis, the game tunnel, the blue whale performing arts center and so on.

The west island of area of 60,000 square meters is business and travel lodging, and it is planned to build two high star hotels full of New City landmark.

And the south island of 140,000 square meters is water leisure and entertainment island, planed to bulid yacht club, yachet harbour and so on. South island will form a large water sports leisure centre for international water sports events and fitness entertainment. In addition Dishui Lake is also planned to build a landmark cloud tower, the building in towering, tourists can be in cloud tower overlooking the Dishui Lake and look at the top of the east China sea.

By Driving

By driving, it is very straight forward.

1) No matter where you are (I mean within outer ring), get to the nearest A20 first - the outer ring road.
2) Turn to A2 (Shanghai-Donghai Bridge). The intersection of A2 and A20 is at the south-east corner of A20. A20 is actually not a perfect circle - there is a almost 90 degree corner at southeast. It is also the intersection of A1.
