Wenchang palace, a collection of Taoism, Confucianism and Buddhism in one hall, played a great role in the process of 'changing the land to flow' of Han Confucianism in the Qing Dynasty, and became the spiritual home and emotional support of the people of all ethnic groups in Lijiang. The staff is super friendly and the location is really good at Old Town. The only downside was the room which was outdated and small, especially for 3 adults. Also the third bed is really too small for an adult and my advise would be not to book a room for 3 people. Breakfast is ok, nothing fancy.
