I do not have a credit card. Can I still book a room?

normally you can book the hotel,but you need to provide your credit card information to guarantee while the peak season of travel or your check-in time is more later.

Why do I need to give my credit card details?

The hotel requires a valid credit card to guarantee the reservation in the event of a late cancellation or no show. The hotel can decide to pre-authorise your credit card to ensure that the card is valid and has sufficient funds.

does the hotel need the guest pay deposite or prepay the room rate?

generally,the hotel don not need guest pay deposite or prepay room rate.you can check whether hotel attached any sprcial items(such as deposite or prepayment ),for this,pleae check the hotel website,including the room type link.please take care,the hotel have the right to verify the credit card in advance.

What types of credit card can I use to complete the reservation?

MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Club can be used on our website. However, it is possible that the hotel does not accept one or more of these card types. Before making your reservation, please check at the bottom of the hotel policies section for "Accepted credit cards".

can i prepay the room rate?

you only can prepay the room rate 5 days in advacne,or else, we can not accept your request,plase contact us if you met some special situation(service@chinaholiday.com).it depents on the hotel regulation.you can contact the hotel after reservation finished,you can find out the hotel contact way in our confirmation (email) or my booking.

Can I make a reservation for myself using someone else's credit card?

Yes you can - only if you have permission from the card holder. Please state this in the "Remarks" box when making your reservation. The hotel may require authorisation from the card holder Please also note that in the case of a No Show, late cancellation any penalties will be charged to the card provided.

Can I use a debit card to complete my reservation?

Generally hotels cannot accept a debit card to guarantee the booking. However, please check the information for the individual hotels on the "accepted credit cards" section on the hotel page.

How does the credit card guarantee my reservation?

A valid credit card is needed as the guarantee in case of late cancellation/amendment or should you not arrive. Before the arrival time, hotels can perform a "pre-authorization" of the credit card. A pre-authorization is a validity check of your credit card.
