Songtsam Shangri-la Linka is located in xiaojiezi village of Songzanlin temple in Jiantang Town, overlooking the 'shanbala' secret place of Songzanlin temple. Songzan Shangri La Linka is hidden in a peaceful green valley, facing Songzanlin temple, a famous Gelug temple in Yunnan Province. In the meantime, it is an idyllic landscape of Tibetan villages and highland barley.
The whole Linka is built in accordance with the mountain situation and adopts the Tibetan style blockhouse building with Kangba characteristics, which is well arranged with flowers, plants and trees. Lamas, herdsmen and horses often pass by on the pine path beside Linka, which is natural and harmonious. Each building of the hotel is named after a village deep in Shangri La. The solid wood furniture, Tibetan carpets, bronze Buddha statues, Tibetan eight treasures and other handicrafts and antique art decorations in the front hall make people fully appreciate the essence of Tibetan culture.
