This was a single stopover night in Kunming. The room was adequate and clean. The lift stopped working and we had to use the stairs to go up 4 floors for a few hours. The reception staff were friendly and worked hard to be helpful. With their minimal English and my minimal Chinese we eventually got the information we needed about trains. A 20 minute walk to the subway station. Close to French Street with some good local restaurants and lots of interesting flower shops/ market. The great view was the alleyway. The hotel was fine for a one night stopover but next time would go closer to the city If staying longer.

Good standard for the money. Don't go on cloudy or rainy days as the solar HWS don't work. Well located in central Kunmin and nearly opposite the French street with a variety of restaurants. Rooms good size.
