Shanti Guest House, It: two bosses from Jiangxi and Anhui, after three years of backpacking at home and abroad, decided to settle in Dali.
Shanti is transliterated from Sanskrit, meaning 'take your time, don't worry.'. Perhaps because of the name, the six room inn took eight months to renovate. The prophet of India has a saying that 'what is over is over.'. Now, the long and painful period of decoration has ended, and Shanti has finally begun to take shape. It has wooden buildings, yards, green tiles, ancient wells, flowers and plants, cats, dogs, fish, sunshine, and the boss's favorite triangle plum. It is simple, quiet and warm. It's called Shanti. It's waiting for you in Dali.
